Registration begins May 1st 

Email Instructions:

1. Download and save the form below as YourChild’sName_TLML_SRP_2025
   Summer Reading Program Registration Form - Download File
2. Fill in the form and save your changes 
3. Email and attach the edited form to [email protected] with the email subject:​
   "YourChild'sName TLML SRP Registration 2025"
4. Once registered, keep an eye out for the kickoff date!
   Schedules and instructions will be given out at the event. ​
5. Registration for Reader Zone will open later, so keep an eye out! Logging reading in Reader Zone is required to attend the Awards Day celebration. ​

Please do not send pictures or screenshots of the registration form. 

​Notice: Parents/guardians are responsible for signing their children up for the Summer Reading Program.
​Any lack of or incorrect information is the sole responsibility of the parent/guardian.

Reader Group Definitions 

Reader groups are used to determine who the children will be reading against,
​what books are recommended, and sometimes, the difficulty of crafts and activities. 

Family Readers
​
Aspiring readers are just beginning to grasp the basic concepts of book and print. These readers require assistance. (Early Emergent Readers & Emergent Readers)

Family Readers are read to by family members and cannot yet read on their own, though they know a few words.

Suggested For
Grades Pre-K - 1st
Ages 3 – 6

Early Readers

​Beginning to read independently, reading is more automatic, with more energy devoted to comprehension than word attack.
​(Emergent Readers & Early Fluent Readers)

Early Readers can read on their own, but may require some assistance on occasion, especially with word definitions.

Suggested For
Grades 2nd - 6th
Ages 7 – 11

Independent Readers

​Readers have successfully moved from “learning to read” to “reading to learn.” (Fluent Readers)

Independent Readers can read entirely on their own without any assistance.

Grades 7th - 12th
Ages 12 – 18
