Each first Monday, the library director Theresa Trawick and musician Lenny Trawick share reading and music with the residents of Serene Manor. Serene Manor is an assisted living and retirement community for veterans.

Friends promote, on an on-going basis, the fact that our library is the cornerstone of the community. The Library provides opportunities for all to engage in the joy of life-long learning and to connect with the thoughts and ideas of others from ages past to the present;
Friends understand the critical importance of well-funded libraries. They advocate to ensure that libraries get the resources needed, in order to provide a wide variety of services to all ages.
Friends’ gifts of their time and commitment to the library set an example for all in how volunteerism leads to positive civic engagement and the betterment of our community;
Think about joining the Friends of the Library. Regular meetings are held twice a year in January and in July. Other meetings will be announced. Refreshments served.
